REST IN PEACE KYM

With great shock and very heavy hearts, the Cobra family has recently been informed of the tragic passing of the surfboard industry legend Kym Thompson.

Kym was one of the Cobra Core Team members. He came to Cobra with his Watercooled brand from Australia back in the 80’s with the dream of shaping amazing boards and developing a mass production solution for the surfboard industry.

Kym achieved these goals and so many more along the way. He remains a true industry Legend that will be missed by many.

Cobra’s thoughts and condolences remain with the entire Thompson clan.
