Over 40 years, the technical expertise at the company has grown in breadth and depth, positioning COBRA since the early days as a world leader in the Watersports sector, and now also in other market sectors which value the performance and capabilities of advanced composite parts.

The company is ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 certified and is now preparing itself for the AS9100 certification. Traceability, standardisation and continuous quality improvement is a focus in everything that we do.

In 2016, we opened our new paint and finishing production area in our Automotive plant. This new 'best in class’ facility has already set a new standard within the automotive composites world.

In 2017, we also implemented a major upgrade to our EPS expansion plant and the building of a dedicated CNC machine center.

A high-pressure RIM (Resin Injection Moulding) production line enabling high volume, short cycle time structural composite parts was also commissioned in 2017.

In late 2017, the lamination and machining areas of our automotive facility CAC were upgraded, completing the overhaul of our entire automotive operations.
