Job Purpose
Lead quality engineering efforts for assigned product lines, ensuring products consistently meet customer quality standards. Manage and mentor quality engineers and QC inspectors, drive quality improvement initiatives, and serve as the primary quality escalation point for the assigned Business Unit (BU).
Responsibilities
Lead quality engineering activities for the assigned product line.
Supervise, mentor, and develop quality engineers and QC inspectors within the assigned product line.
Manage the customer complaint 8D investigation process and drive effective corrective actions.
Develop, update, and maintain inspection standards, control plans, and quality procedures.
Monitor product quality KPIs and lead improvement initiatives in partnership with BU production teams.
Lead quality review meetings with BU management and production supervisors.
Coach and develop junior quality engineers in the application of quality tools and industry best practices.
Support Incoming Quality Control (IQC) processes for critical raw materials from suppliers.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Quality, Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or Polymer).
5+ years of experience in quality control, preferably within watersports equipment manufacturing; experience in composite Products/polymer manufacturing is a plus.
Strong English communication skills are required.
